Most discussions of our defensive problems (injuries, portal guys who didn't work out, playing freshmen, etc.) fail to mention the loss of the guy who played two games with brain cancer.

No one is forgetting him.

He is mentioned almost every time we discuss why the defense has been so bad

Hell the first page has a thread about the defense and Brooks is mentions frequently in the replies.

Literally no one has forgotten him

Seems like it’s too early to say one way or the other.

Pretty sure he and his family are just thankful he is alive. He is a tremendous young man that can still accomplish a lot of great things with his life.

I get what you are trying to say but that’s an afterthought bro, foremost we are all concerned with GB3’s health and well-being.

I don't know much about his treatment or prognosis , but is there any chance he could be at Tiger Stadium for this last home game? It would be awesome (and inspiring) if he was recognized before the game.

If not I pray they at least do a tribute video or something. And film to get it to his family.

I remember being disappointed with him in the FSU game because he got beat on a couple of plays. After finding out he was playing with a brain tumor, I felt like a total a-hole. Goes to show you never know what is going on physically or emotionally with these kids. And yes they are still kids. They are younger than my youngest and to me, that is still a kid. Remember this when you bash one of them by name on here.

All it would take is a single person forgetting him for your statement to be wrong, and I’m sure a few have forgotten him.

I do not wish to minimize his illness, but it is not cancer. It is a brain tumor. Neoplasia if you prefer, but is is not cancer.
