I saw college football network had Denbrock as a top pick to replace Arnett. Need to do a lot to make sure that doesn't happen. I would be shocked if Miss St doesn't go with an offensive guy.

He got a lot of grief last year, but we now have the best offense in the country, and to not give him any credit for JD’s development and playcalling this year is just wrong. He called good plays last year, receivers were wide open last year too, JD wouldn’t let it fly. IMO, he would be a significant loss.

Offensive Chavis. Knows his role as a lieutenant and does it well.

Denbrock will get a lot of attention after the season for open positions. Just the price of success here at LSu.

It’s tough to know exactly who gets the credit. In ‘19, people wanted to credit Joe Brady, some wanted to credit Emsminger. The actual driver of success was Burrow and the talent around him.

I think Denbrock has been solid. I think Sloan has also done great and is a future HC. But the offense’s success is ultimately due to JD and the talent around him, just like with the ‘19 team.

If he does leave, promote Sloan to OC. He's been learning and he's the guy that put the plan together for Daniels. He's the guy needed for these top QB recruits.

Right with ya CalT. Development of JD is more attributed to the QB coach and assts than the OC. Nabers certainly didn’t hurt either. I’ve said before that I’m not as much impressed with Denbrock than most. He had more than his share of head scratching calls in critical situations (like 4th and shorts) the last two years. He ain’t bad but he sure as hell ain’t elite. We can do better. MSU can have him and if so, good for him.

This board is full of dumbasses

Y’all don’t want to give Denbrock any credit. Such bullshite

Joe Brady deserved credit for 2019 just like Denbrock deserves credit for this season

Talent along with great playcalling = Heisman

Since there is no offset in Jimbo's buyout, he should take the State job for $100K and tell them to use the other millions on assistants and recruits.

When JD arrived at LSU CBK was talking about his footwork and the reason he was throwing the ball short and into the ground.

JD5's progression/development is 100% coaching. The end product should have 5 stars lining up to receive the same under this staff.

Nuss should look polished by the time next season comes around. Hope they can keep the staff intact. Sloan appears to be special. Denbrock with Daniels & company is all one could hope for as a fan on the offensive side of the ball.

Blows my mind how many ADs at big time programs are willing to throw wads of cash at career assistants after showing a sliver of promise. I guess that's why I don't get paid the big bucks.
