From The Advocate explaining bowl selection. - The folks at the Citrus are in a unique position among SEC Bowl tie-ins of being able to pick their own teams. CFP selection committee picks the first six into New Years bowl matchups above the Citrus Bowl, and the SEC slots teams below the Citrus Bowl. But it’s hard to figure the good folks in Orlando will pick the Tigers for a second straight Citrus Bowl and third game there in a year, counting LSU’s Sept 3 opener against Fla State.

I was at the LSU/Iowa Outback Bowl. A rainy game with Jennings at QB took a lot of the excitement out, but Jeremy Hill was a machine that game.
