I understand she hosts a regional every year, but this is LSU! You cannot go out like she has the last few years and just keep your job. For one, she should try to hire that ST Amant head coach as a hitting coach, those girls can hit! Second, she should try to recruit that Bordon girl off the UMASS team, she can really fire that thing in there.

Here's a bit of advice. If you are going to start a profile to solely to troll at least try to be more subtle about it.

And maybe consider your timing.
LSU fans are very unhappy about a lot of things dealing with football, right now.
Women's Softball is not exactly the most salient issue for most folks at this time.

True yet Torina needs to find some lock down pitching which she hasn't had in recent seasons. Still doubt her job is in jeopardy.

I don't think hiring a high school coach is the answer for hitting
That would be like LSU baseball hiring Cechinni from Barbe

It would start by not losing to ULL in regional play and become the top program in Louisiana for one
The hitting has been sporadic recently, need better production 1 thru 9
The pitching hasn't been great either and that's Torina's specialty
The really elite teams have that one stud pitcher you know is going to win every time out, LSU has not had that elite pitcher in awhile

She's a notch up on Flory (volleyball). At least Torina is competitive near the top of SEC. However, why can't we hire a coach that can win BIG and win EARLY like all our other top sports coaches - Mulkey, Johnson, and Kelly. She just has NOT gotten it done over the years. I'm ready for change - and a championship in women's softball. Geaux Tigers!

I’m sure there’s a coach that SW can throw a bunch of money at that will come and coach a program that even with a NC won’t be profitable.

I’m giving you an A+ for confidence. You went straight into that rant as if we’d all know not only the sport you were referring to but the transfer players of other schools as well.

Or am I the only guy here that wasn’t aware of the talent on the UMASS women’s pitching staff?

I know it doesn’t work this way. And I like Torino…:but that lady Pitre knows softball. I’d take her as the head coach.

This just sounds like a crazy thing to me. There have already been several threads, and several posts the last 5 months, saying LSU should hire Pitre. Is that really something that goes on in college softball? Hiring a high school coach to be the softball coach of a major athletic program? I just can’t imagine that being a thing in baseball or football.

We get it; you do not want Torina as coach. It is football season.

It's not really the right time for it, but I'll participate.

She needs to stop the backslide this program has had for the last few years. Winning a regional is step 1. I'm a big fan of Beth, but if she gets bounced from a regional again, I will give up.

Nothing. She'll be gone when Oklahoma enters the SEC. Unwilling to change isn't a good thing.
