Yes, lets wear all black for an 11:00 game in 95 degree heat.

I clicked on this thread nervously expecting to see some hideous uniform that LSU was actually going to use at some point.

To my relief, it's just some troll's suggestion.

I wouldn't be surprised if MSU makes us wear colors. Seems like Vandy and MSU are the most common ones that make us do this when we go on the road. We shouldn't do a blackout though, black isn't our color. Wouldn't mind white/purple/white if we have to use colors.

Not only do those look stupid but wearing those at 11am in mid September? That’s freaking genius.

I think you’re confused. Home teams are supposed to wear “colors” and away teams wear “whites”.
That’s why Dinardo got approval for us to wear our “whites” at home games was a big deal at the time. Unless something has changed

LSU wears white at home. It's up to the home team what colors they wear by rule and the away team isn't required to wear white but it has to be contrasting to what the home team wears, so if MSU wears white at home then we can't wear white. But if the home team wears colors, then the away team can still wear colors if they so choose, they aren't forced to wear white. I think that changed when Pete Carroll wore colors as the away team against UCLA. He was charged a timeout per half for doing so and then they changed it afterwards.

MSU wore white at home in 2007 and 2009, so we were forced to wear purple.
