Those two drops were brutal. He had best hit the Jugs machine this week.

The positive thing was he was able to get himself in position to score two touchdowns on the two passes he saw.

Drops are easy to fix. Getting that open is just a natural gift that is hard to develop if you do not already have it

Sampson has a lot of upside. He'll improve and earn more snaps.

Hankton better break out the juggs machine, 10k catches or hire a voodoo priestess to get some catching mojo because his WRs have butter fingers.

Dude this was his first game… chill out.
He’s really talented, let him work through it.

He'll he fine. Dwayne Bowe had the drops and the next year he came out and set the world on fire.

Hes a BR kid playing in TS for the first time. I'd probably drop my first pass in TS too. Now Lacy on the other hand has had plenty of chances

Dude if you re-read my post you'll see the Hankton reference is about ALL of the WRs. I pretty much gave Sampson a pass.

Yes where’s the CBK won’t play Freshmen poster, there’s your answer
Sampson- 0-2, 2 targets 2 dropped TDs
4-6 68yds 1 rushing TD Nuss w/o SS
With SS catching dimes
Nuss 6-6 139yds 2 TDs
I love Freshmen but this is why you don’t throw them in the fire against Florida St - Grambling not so meaningful comp, but for SS meaningful Drops

It would have been only 1 TD since it was the same drive. Both were money passes though.

A 5 star recruit highly regarded recruit should not drop 2 easy touchdown passes perfectly thrown right in his hands! No excuses!

He had to make sure JD kept a competitive QBR stat line in comparison to Nuss.

His last attempt in end zone was so close! Will be a great WR though.

Nothing to be concerned about. His upside far outweighs his first game jitters.

He accounted for both incompletions for Nuss and both would have been TDs. One was a gimme. The other was something you expect a catch on.

Good news…he gets open. I’m sure he’ll get his hands straight.
