Didn't see a single snap. What were the key takeaways from this scrimmage?

And how the hell was it 14-10 after the first quarter?

Defense played like arse the first 2 quarters. Offense overmatched their players pretty much sums it up

Jayden played great, but missed a few throws, so he sucks.

Nuss is Jesus.

From someone who is a little less doom and gloom.

JD threw well. Connected with several deep balls. (The rant: but grambling, so it doesn’t count)

Diggs showed up big in the running game, runs hard, is shifty, has good vision.

Defensive scheme was very bland. Was hoping they’d mix up blitz packages, but I think they trying to keep it vanilla to not show MSU anything.

Defense did settle in after 3 grambling drives (the third drive grambling missed a fg)

Defensive backs are still questionable. I think Harris still has a good chance to be good, if he can adjust to the speed of the game.

It was obvious our defense was lazy on some plays and that bothers me.

Offense is good enough to win the west and maybe more.

Defense really has to get it together. If they do that, then they can be good.

Special teams were improved. We fielded the ball well on all kicks.

Heard was dominant at right tackle.

Heard did look good on the OL but lacks in the conditioning department.

Takeaway, in general, was that the necessary adjustments to all groups were made on the coaching and personnel side.

Now let’s hope it translates against an SEC team.

JD played lights out. He's now back in the Heisman contention. May be the leader after his performance last night.

Grambling was an absolute joke. It was like playing against air. Deeming the game a scrimmage would be giving them way too much credit. According to the JD lovers, he is back in the Heisman race because he finally completed throws away from the LOS against a pee wee football team.

Oh... and Sampson is fricking terrible at this juncture.

Defense was on pace to give up 700+ yards into the 2nd quarter. It would have been 21-13 but Grambling kicker missed a chip shot.

Well…score would’ve been 93-13 if Coach would’ve kept pedal down so we can go on all day about the ifs and buts.

I’m talking about when the game was still being decided. If you think the first quarter+ was some type of beatdown, not sure what to say. LSU was up 21-10 and Grambling had first and goal from LSU 5 yard line and ended up missing a FG. LSU was never going to lose the game, but we looked like shite for quite a bit.

First quarter aside, where did you not see positive adjustments? I'll give you dropped passes.

Can't help you. I'm an LSU fan and as such, it's not my job to help other people who are too good in their own minds to watch one of the 12 scheduled opportunities per year for watching the Tigers.

If if if if, if We make 2 4th down conversions in Florida St game in first half it’s 31-14 halftime
If if if if if IF Lacey catches 3rd down slant and scores it’s 24-14 instead
If Candies & Nuts ….,…..

Daniels and Nuss both looked solid.

WR’s were absolute arse and continued to drop wide open passes that were on the money in stride.

Defense was complete arse the first three drives. Our secondary couldn’t cover and linebackers were mia in run support. Adjustments were made, however, and Grambling was shut down.

Offensive line was hit and miss. They still allowed a few bad pressures against Daniels and Nuss that resulted in some sacks and emergency throw-aways. At times they blocked well and opened up some huge holes in the running game.

We finally got some solid production out of our running backs.

All in all, we saw some signs of improvement in some areas but the same issues in others.
