Better than being off the team. Question is will time away fix his issues. We are doubtful but pulling for him.

LSU could be without its top transfer Denver Harris for some time as the five-star cornerback faces a possible suspension stemming from his involvement in a fight that broke out at practice. Sonny Shipp of Geaux247 reported that Harris “had a pretty big role in the fight” that took place at practice before nearly instigating the issue further afterward in the locker room. Shipp added that time away from the LSU program is expected for Harris.

Didn’t he practice after the fight? Probably more to it than that.

Sounds like a suspension instead of being kicked off the team.
I gotta imagine they’re gonna give him an opportunity to at least play in the opener so this experiment wasn’t all for nothing.

only question I have is if this is from the fight, why let him practice all week to include the scrimmage?

Who needs a great college career and a few years in the NFL making a few million?

It probably had to go through a process before it could be put in place, some kind of investigation or meeting with team leaders or some thing like that

Sounds like Denver got that dog in him and other players couldn't handle it.

It would be good if the team captains sat down with him to get him to understand he better get his head right.
He can either be team LSU or team McDonalds.

Word is, he was 1 minute late for a team meal the day of team photos. Which was the final straw.

Sonny Shipp
This guy has no articles posted on his Twitter/X account regarding Denver Harris and is somewhat taking credit for pushing this piece. I would not be surprised if he loses credentials when LSU finds out this is basically his article and the outcome is different.

Kick his arse off the team, guy is a cancer and not a team first guy.

Sorry, but can you explain this comment?
ETA:
1) are you saying sonny has no articles on his Twitter regarding this?
2) the author of the linked article is the Cody Nagel, who cites different sources including shipp.

bullshite. It’s one thing to be involved in a fight on the field from tempers flaring and an itch to take it out on a real opponent.
It’s another thing to take it to the locker room like he also did at A&M. That screams “locker room cancer.” The team doesn’t need that and if CBK kicks his arse off the team then so be it.

this doesn't make sense to me, either he instigated it further in the locker room or didn't lol it doesn't matter if another fight happened or not you either instigated it or didn't but regardless he isn't in the position to be doing this either as he's already on a short leash, who is advising this kids? I would be telling my son to show up to practice in a shirt and tie everyday if he was in that situation.

It really amazes me. You get a full ride scholarship to go to school to play the sport you love. The perks that come with it are great. You can also cash in and make money with NIL
Yet some players seem to struggle to stay out of trouble. Didn’t think it be that hard to but guess not

That amazes you? Not me. No one thinks of all of that when a fight breaks out. Rage takes over. The question is: Why is he getting enraged all of the time?

Most NFL pros think they are all that but are professional and are mature.
NIL gives all the money and ego boost these guys need without the maturity to know how to act as a professional.
