LINK
This is a link to the interview on twitter where he talks about it. Basically says that this is where his roots are. And that he wants to represent lsu, Louisiana, and the fans. So it made it an easy decision. Rarely do you see guys make the decision Nuss made in this era. Kid deserves a ton of praise.
Hopefully this wasn’t shared already but I didn’t see anything about it on the first page.

Nuss is going to be something great.
Love having players who love being here for all the right reasons.

Nuss deserves a ton of praise. Crazy to think, if he shows he's capable of reducing turnovers, he could be one of the top QBs returning next season while having limited playing time.

He'll likely be taking over another preseason top 5 team next season as well. He'll have a chance to shine no doubt with USC, UCLA, Bama & OU on the schedule.

His time is coming. He just needs to wait patiently.

Looking back, I’m really glad he skipped out on that bowl game to retain his redshirt.

There is not a lot of QBs out there who wouldnt have played this the way Nuss has. I love players who really want to be at LSU. I hope he plays himself into a first round pick next year.

He was 1 play vs A&M away from being able to RS last year. Hindsight says he should've played that bowl game and if he performs well, Daniels may never transfer here and he runs this team last year. If not, Howard comes in for that 1 play vs A&M and Nuss redshirts last year. He missed a huge opportunity

Would be awesome if we had two seasons of Nuss after this year

I hope so. Kids got a damn arm that’s for sure. If he can temper himself and learn not to try and force a play when it’s not there he could be special.

I know nothings guaranteed but I can see him being a great tiger bc of his want to succeed. No doubt kids a natural and can make all the throws but obviously your confidence level can make or break you…
He really believes in himself and his confidence/want to succeed will help him overcome adversity in future. He showed a lot of skill and heart when he came in this past season in SEC championship…
I’m excited to see him play!
GEAUX TIGERS!

Nuss has expressed those same feelings and plans ever since he was a recruit and has never wavered.
Do't know why fans doubted him, he has never shown anything but ambition to lead the Tigers.

Yeah a lot of geniuses that post on here need to eat some crow on Nuss. Many said he was all about himself when he didn’t play in a pointless bowl game, and immediately assumed he would transfer out. Instead, he has sat and learned behind Daniels and is poised for what we can hope will be a good year as a starter in 2024. I’m not saying he will be an all-American, but people were hating for no reason.

I think it’s more an indictment on the state of college football and how many kids transfer in his position. Especially when they could easily start at quite a few sec schools.

According to the non biased media, he is there, talent wise.
He makes throws impossible for most college QBs.

And half this board went apeshit… it was a great decision not only for him but the team’s future.

I didn't go apeshit but I'll admit to criticizing the kid for doing that
