I really hope Harris gets his shite together. He’s got all the talent but he’s a headcase

Based on reports, Zy Alexander and Deuce Chestnut have been taking the reps with the 1st defense so far. Welch is the 3rd corner. Sage Ryan at Nickel. Brooks and Burns at the safety positions.

Brooks is a safety
(Certain) Safeties play the nickel spot a good deal. It's called nickel safety by definition.
Brooks played a lot of nickel last year, 248 snaps according to PFF. It will probably be between him and Ryan ultimately in the nickel spot. Brooks will still play a good bit of back end safety but if they feel good about Sam, Sam and Burns might really play a good bit in back end safety spots especially if Ryan doesnt look great at nickel.

Of course. A field corner and a boundary corner. A free and a strong safety and then the star, which can be another corner/ or a safety. Generally this is the most important position

Where’s Toviano in all of this?
Posted on 8/9/23 at 11:47 am to TrapperJohn
Toviano could be a starter by mid-season.
Posted on 8/9/23 at 11:49 am to PlaySomeHonk
Toviano will probably play a role similar to what Sage did last year

Whoever makes it out of not having a heat stroke.

I thought Duce hurt his leg again or maybe just a minor one?
ETA: it was JK Johnson not Chestnut.

This is the position where we really can’t afford any injuries…but at least the front 7 is gonna keep the DBs from having to guard for very long.

They've done this, as well as Major Burns and Andre' Sam at safety with Brooks at nickel.
Plenty of time to shuffle guys around to see what works best.
