#1 LHP in the state of cali coming out of high school. Out this past season due to injury. 12.2 strike outs per 9 innings as a freshman before injury.

JJ knows the studs in Cali, Thatcher knows this cat.

Dude looks like a diamond in the rough. May be exciting to watch.

Seems to be buds with Hurd. Drafted in the 18th round out of high school is really respectable. Not a large sample size but I think the stuff is solid.

Tommy John this year and 7 appearances in 21. What am I missing?

People acting like we just landed Koufax.

Didn’t play this year went down with a TJ his freshman year. Had a good era for a freshmen, should be stronger and not likely to have issues.

Can you call the former #1 LHP in the state of California a diamond in the rough?

Top 50 prospect in 2021 mlb draft. Massive talent. Should be ready to throw in fall after TJ in mid 2022.

Nothing. Nothing at all. You be you.
The rest of us will enjoy a highly thought of lefty coming in.

Coming out of HS he was ranked the No. 1 left-handed pitcher in the state of California and the No. 5 prospect overall … Nationally, was ranked as the No. 5 left-handed pitcher and the No. 38 prospect overall.

Selected in the 18th round of the 2021 MLB First-Year Player Draft by the San Diego Padres, but opted to honor his commitment to UCLA ... Was ranked the No. 43 overall prospect in the lead-up to the draft by MLB.com.

He had Tommy John in the summer of 2022, by next season he will be fully recovered. He has the potential to be a starter if he lives up to his expectations coming out of HS.

He only had 7 appearances as a freshman because that’s when he got injured. He was making weekend starts in conference games when he was lost for the season.
