You know the local bar and restaurant owners have to be loving this years CWS. LSU fans until the end. $$$$

To be fair, at least part of the proceeds go to food banks. But it is a pretty ingenious way for them to drive business.
Have a couple friends in the area and everyone raves about how great LSU fans are. One of them said there were multiple Florida fans who cut them off while driving this week so he was rooting against them in the finals no matter who they played.

Omaha has loved LSU fans since the 90s. We boost the economy there for two weeks. I went in 97 for the entire time and they loved us. LSU fans have an exponential impact on those two weeks

That's what makes a con a con and not armed robbery. The victim gives up their money freely, after being misled. The jello shot thing isn't a con though. The charity they are involved with must be approaching $250,000 in donations now.

Some people like to virtue signal and act like they're special. "You wouldn't catch me dead eating at Canes." "I've never stepped foot in a Walmart." "I'm too smart to get conned into a nasty jello shot." "Wooo, look at me." And they are so angry and self-righteous about it.

That place must stay afloat solely off the revenue it makes during the CWS. It’s supposed to be a pizzeria but the pizza they were serving this past week looked awful.
