For Daniels. He has said (most recently with Finebaum) that Daniels “has developed”. If JD goes out and plays about the same as last year how far does CBK fall in your eyes?

To me he drops a lot. He could be communicating less confidence about JD and still be in his corner.

What if Daniels plays much better than last year? How far does CBK rise in your eyes? Or do you just speculate about the negative?

He’d fall so far in my eyes if he was giving coach speak in the offseason expressing confidence in his QB. Can’t forgive that shite

You make it seem like he came out and said JD was gonna be the next Joe Burrow and throw 60 TDs. All he said was he's developed and you think he laid it on too thick with his verbiage?

Don’t worry. JD will be a darkhorse for heisman this year.

I love how idiots on this board still think JD was absolutely terrible last season.

And maybe the guy who sees him everyday may just think he has improved in the offseason.

He’s like 16-1 to win the Heisman, he’s not even a dark horse

It must be sad to view things this negatively. I have no urge to experience that.

Why the frick would the head coach express less confidence in his starting QB? I’m sure that’s great for recruitment

If he plays marginally better next year we’re likely a playoff team. What really needs to improve is our special teams.
