He’s cooled off a bit after having several games in a row with a dinger. Jordan seems like a streaky hitter that can get hot in bunches but also struggle in bunches. Hopefully he’s saving the gas for a push at the end!

He is streaky..

He just needs to keep the defense up, it’s been nice this year not saying oh shite when a ground ball is hit to short

He's been a streaky hitter his entire time at LSU. I actually like when he's batting lower in the lineup.

Oh I agree, he’s played great at short. It’s the luxury of this team. You see someone batting below .300 and you think what the hell. Thompson is a streaky athlete that will get hot at the right time.

Just as long as his Defense @ SS stays solid his bat will just be a bit of lagniappe, Yea?

It is nice to not be as nervous as a whore in church every time a ball is hit towards SS/2B area.

The play to get the last out last night, was a tough play that he made look easy. When he is hot with the bat, that's just added income for this team.

Baseball is an extremely difficult game. Even the professionals have slumps.
He's doing fine.

I can't lie, this happens to me every time he throws it to first now. At least if he has a tough play to get to the ball or if it looks like he may have to rush the throw.

Ideally i’d like to see Thompson batting in the 8 or 9 hole depending who is catching. Just keep playing solid defense.

Beloso is struggling right now too

Him and the West Monree have been gone down quite a bit recently. Hopefully, they will turn the corner before the tournaments.

I agree. I'm never bummed when he's up in a big spot.

I’m not saying to do this but if he was pushed up in the order to 2 or 4, his BA would explode.

The pop-up bunt is something we will need him to execute in the future.

I see Jordan's batting average dip caused by being impatient at the plate. No doubt his play at SS has been very good.
