Best Safety at LSU who ya got mine without a doubt is Chad Jones

Imo one of the best ever to dress in an LSU uniform much less any College Football uniform. Also a damn good pitcher at LSU as well Also beat Miss St by his self. Some of his hits were made for legends

Not old enough to have seen Casanova
But for one season - Grant Delpits sophomore year he was ridiculous. That ankle injury in his junior year made a lot of people forget how dominant he truly was

Yeah you have to mention Delpit because that year he was unreal. Eric Reid was consistently good for three years. Adams was unreal and Landry was great. Steltz put up some incredible numbers.
Really hard to rank the Safeties but Adams was the best I ever saw.

Realize most on here aren’t old enough, but hands down…it’s Tommy Casanova. He was considered the best all around football player in CF during his time.

Laron Landry.... he led the best lsu defense ever in tackles as a true freshman.
He made all sec every year and all American 3 of his 4 years. He is the most decorated safety in lsu history.
One of 2 lsu tigers to lead the team in tackles 3 years.

Chad Jones wasn’t a top 3 safety at LSU. Freak athlete who made some wow plays, but he didn’t sniff Jamal Adams.
