SEC umpires...Where do they find these guys?

For the premiere college baseball conference in the country to have such a clown show behind the plate is inexcusable.

Has LSU ever lost anything because of shitty play in any sport? Or have the officials only beat them?

It was really really bad man it’s kinda disappointing I bet the southland had just as good umps which is uncalled for

Was bad both ways but that 8th inning 2 strike call we would’ve been up 2 going into 9th

I know complaining about the umps after a loss is a bad look, but they were frustrating and downright laughable even when we were dominating on Friday

Dont know but those Zones were tighter than a virgin. I mean I couldn't believe how strict they were in this series.
Hope it loosens some with the others. They tried to make it a MLB strike Zone it seems.

Iowa loss was a legit whipping.

If the umpires are going to be this tight, they need to bring in K zone for broadcasts.

Fair enough.
I don’t find it all that one sided. I saw a few some Aggies could be pissed about too.

Isn’t the tight zone because of the replay reviews that the SEC is using to evaluate the umps?
They are too worried about calling a ball a strike but seem to be overdoing that and calling what players and fans are used to seeing from past seasons as strikes called balls.

The worst call of the weekend benefited LSU.
That crew was absurdly bad.

Beyond time for robo umps.

The worst of the weekend was when an LSU player clearly didn’t get HBP and the umps awarded a base in an inning that cost the other team the game?

Usually it's just 1 maybe 2 f'ups per series, but this was the worst crew I've ever seen. I don't know what it is about SEC Officials, but I've seen better umpiring in Legion and HS ball.

Maybe you didn't watch the series, but I don't take this as saying we lost just because of them. They were terrible all weekend, even in the wins, and both ways. The strike zone was either 1.5 baseballs wide or it would just magically not exist some pitches. Both sides had pitches that looked down the middle called balls. They let us push a dude's hand off 3rd for an out, too. It was just bad.
