So glad he decided to go pro instead after seeing his combine performance. I feel like he was the last weight holding the team back from the Orgeron era. He was just talented enough to where Kelly had to bend his rules a tad. . Now with him gone the team is completely bought in.

Kayshon never seemed to fit like Nabors, Thomas, etc. It was fun watching him and I wish him the best but it was time to move on.

It's like that saying "the wolf on top the hill is never as hungry as the wolf climbing the hill". When he was hungry for it he was a bad man. Once he got labeled 1st round pick, he just coasted. Was sad to watch.

The Orgeron era had a 2018 finish 6th and 2019 finish #1 and the best season ever for LSU football. Boutte is a good football player that in my opinion got caught up in the opt out, transfer, NIL distraction and there will be plenty of kids in the future that will fall into this scenario.
Orgeron has nothing to do with Boutte

Think his season ending injury had a lot to do with it

How’d he do in 2020 and 2021?

How about Ed’s recruiting classes in 2018 and 2019?

The combine is overrated. He'll be fine. It cost you absolutely nothing to wish him well and let it go.

Listening to you negatigers, Boutte and Orgeron were the Anti Christ and his Angel.
Boutte stills hold the record for most receiving yards in a game, and Orgeron built and coached the best ever LSU team, maybe the best in NCAA history.
Boutte set the record in conjunction with just an average QB. He was injured. Then finished his career with an average or less passing QB.
Orgeron has been on more national championship teams than BK, and BK has been coaching for forty years.

Wow. So we are giving Orgeron credit for the success of Pete Carroll and Jimmy Johnson now? Lmao
It’s over. Let it go. Your boy ran the program into the ground and everyone knows it. Kelly his rebuilding it quickly and already equaled Orgerons sec west titles in one year after inheriting 39 players. Hang in there

I feel like you definitely just made that phrase up

A superb talent, but it is obvious that he does not love football....he loves what football can do for him.

He seemed to really click with Nuss though

He also loves fudge rounds and swiss rolls

It’s too bad he had the injury. He just didn’t seem to get back to the level he was before he got hurt. Then he got the drops real bad last year. Probably a combination of not rehabbing effectively and then not being fully dialed in mentally. Just saw one of his times was a 4.5 which is fast enough imo.

If he truly had an achilles (i know it was mysteriously reported as an “ankle) then it’s no surprise he wasn’t humming all around the field less than a year later. He also had to have a follow up procedure. His shite vertical was the most surprising thing.

The combine IS over-rated, but not in the eyes of GM’s. They place a lot of stock on things like the 40. Watch as Trey Palmer gets drafted much higher than many would have thought, he ran the fastest 40 out of all WR’s. Does not make him a great football player but some GM will pick him sooner rather than later.

I’ve never heard it either, but it’s pretty solid.
