Can we just laugh at how ridiculous some of the spots were last night?

Among a night of questionable calls galore, the spots still stood out for their absurdity. It’s ridiculous to have to review spots for 2-6 yard errors

I mean are you really surprised?

Made this comment to my friends in real time.
It was absurd how spots kept needing to be reviewed.

I noticed on almost every single one of our close spots we would be one yard behind, whereas every one of their close spots would be 1ST Down! It's uncanny

Y’all need to try watching these games sober. I saw no problems with dpots

bamas 3rd down run that was stuffed by BJ at the 2 yard like ended up being placed at the 6 inch line.... gotta give it to the refs, they tried their best and are super loyal to nick

No, that’s why all I can do is laugh at it. We had quite a few at the sticks that were short, and Alabama is getting 2+ yard errors in their favor on the reg.

You serious?

You saw no problems with the spots when the refs on the field tried to give Alabama like 6 extra yards after one of their wideouts caught the ball, went down hard on one knee, and then ran for more and they initially spotted the ball after his second-effort run?

It was a bad spot but you are exaggerating on this one. They got a few football lengths on that one though.

That one and the one where the receiver got hit and stopped a yard short and they spotted him a yard past the first down marker. That spot wasn’t even close and it wasn’t one that was hard to see.

Are you just blatantly ignoring the ref trying to spot the ball past the 50 before the replay booth had to take control and tell them to walk it back 3 yards?

Lol. There was a play were their receiver was tackled a yard and a half short of the first down and the ref marked it 2 yards over the line to gain.

You had no issues with the fact that twice on the same drive they had to go to review to determine a spot on the field?
And on one of them, the players’ knee and elbow were fully down but not a single official thought they should blow the play dead?

Am I overlooking something on the 20 yard holding call against Jenkins? Can’t believe more people haven’t mentioned that.
