Hard for the crowd to really get going without any big plays to get excited about.
But leading into the dome and from the start.. FSU fanbase was twice as present in New Orleans.

Someone posted a photo of champions square and it was 70/30 LSU easily.

Depends on where you were. In the Dome it sounded like 70/30 FSU even though the numbers were close to 50/50.
LSU fans sat quietly soon after the kickoff drive. None of the normal crowd chants. LSU fans aren’t what they used to be.

We had 3 points at half and no explosive plays. FSU controlled the entire game. There really wasn’t much to get excited about. Gets pretty disheartening when the defense can’t get a 3rd down stop time and time again. I’m sure the last 5 mins were loud.

Agreed Nole fans were louder. Even the LSU fans around us didn't get loud all game. Except to celebrate TD's and stuff like that. FSU was getting loud when LSU had the ball, that was key.

Stadium was 60/40 at best. I got tomahawk chopped to death where I was sitting

FSU fans seemed to be a lot more excited about this game than we were.

It’s in those moments of adversity, the players need the support and encouragement. Cheering when things are only going the way you want them is a cop out.

We were quiet in comparison to FSU. They definitely cared more but even our fans seemed to be asleep most of the game.

This game meant everything to our fans, players and coaches. We have been building for 3 years to get to this point. You guys are still in rebuild mold and still almost pulled it out. It was anyones ball game. Either team could have won that game when you get down to just 1 play.

Agreed. I think LSU was probably 60/40 in the Dome but certainly getting out classed by the FSU fans.

We have become complacent as fans when it comes to being loud. Only the really big games LSU fans get up for. Still great that the Dome was a sell out. I was worried about that.

Agreed. It was… surprising
Every team that plays in a meaningful game in the Dome brings a crowd and is very loud.
This is another reason they love New Orleans for the Super Bowl.
It's 50% allure of partying New Orleans and 50% want to go to the game.

It was a bigger game for them. They definitely had more to lose than us. Norvell needed that win bad.

Much like our team.

They traveled very well and made their presence known everywhere they went this weekend

That’s objectively false. Norvell is in year 3 and still may be fired this year.
