Former nfl dc steve wilks left missou to go back to the nfl as carolina panthers secondary coach.

He was already a DC at Miami and it didn’t go very well. Was getting demoted and that’s how he ended up at LSU.

Manny didn’t give hime very much autonomy in the Miami defense. Blake is a hell if a coach and will do great things for Mizzou. I wish we would have been able to retain him! Best if luck to him!

It looked more like he was the fall guy for Manny Diaz. They were running his defense and they didn’t get much better this year with Baker gone.
