A week ago, many of the posters here were over the moon about the Kelly hire and potential. All so excited about the change.Now that he is on board and making the changes, he is being questioned about the "sacred cows" on staff.
Let the man make his changes, put in his own staff, and if the product on the field is not quality, then we bitch!
But, I am not going to get upset because we lost a position coach we thought was valuable.

It's typical Louisiana.
Everybody's down in the dumps about being 50th in everything. But boy, you start identifying things that need to change in order to get off the bottom and they THROW A FIT.
That's what this is. Loser mentality. Melt over the cornerbacks coach who's starting a transfer from Nicholls State because he doesn't have anybody else after his two prima donna recruits get ingrown toenails or whatever and opt out.
We hired a legend of a coach for $10 million a year to reset the program. Not to make sure that all our pet position coaches get comfy sinecures. If Corey Raymond wants a promotion coaching for Lord Billy Bob of Gainesville, let him go. We're going to beat his arse with the guys Kelly hires. And that's all there is to it.

Any other name and I wouldn’t sweat it.
But Corey Raymond symbolized everything you want in an LSU Football stakeholder.
Loyal, committed, talented… he was the one guy I wish was untouchable. A lot of recruits playing on Sunday because of Raymond.

The transfer from nicholls who has looked great this year and helped lsu win games.

Ultimately, Kelly signed that contract and if it goes well or south, it's on him. We need a culture change. I'm all in.

Max bolting is shite but we move on. Knuss will be pumped to play and we will kick KSU's arse and he will be pumped in the QB room next year with Walker Howard coming in. Competition breeds greatness. Max going leaves an easier way for Arch to stop by and compete.

We needed a new staff and people get mad because one guy went to Florida for a crappy coach who won’t last there.
