Nice to see that 2/3 empty Carrierdome and losing to Toledo

Pitt's stadium isn't even close to being full, and they are playing Notre Dame who probably claims 1/2 the fans there

ACC is building a powerhouse lacrosse conference.

if football attendance was a prereq for ACC membership we'd have 3 teams
The ACC has decided to be the smart schools that are awesome at basketball with VT and the Florida schools thrown in for some semblance of football

Syracuse gave up on football years ago.

Doug Marrone has done a great job there
They came back to win the game FWIW
and I still think it's a great move for Syracuse and the ACC

ACC will always be a basketball conference first.

i hate the ACC, having clemson FSU as the biggest game of the year sucks
the SEC has bigger matchups than that every week

The ACC is a pitiful conference. They have never sold out any of their conference championship games and to see the half empty stadiums during that game is awful. Chicken shite Bowden screwed Fla. State because he never wanted to play both Bama and Auburn during the same season. I just pray that the SEC never invites Florida State. Let them reap the financial benefits of the big ACC. How many Florida State fans plan to go up to New York and Conn.? I'm just thankful that the SEC is a regional conference. The SEC is the South's football at its finest and we sure don't need any Yankee schools to dilute it. BTW, Texas is a Southern state. It's more southern than Kentucky. You need to learn who the eleven states were that fought for the cause and slavery wasn't the reason why the eleven left the U.S.

:duh:
exactly why it's a great move for both

Yep. We as SEC fans only see the football side of it but in their eyes they probably at least just equaled the Big East in basketball depth and most likely surpassed them. They have got to be giddy as hell about it. The four schools that actually care about football don't mind because it's not like they will really be challenging their run to the BCS at all.
