Agree or disagree?

Either way, is this crap going to kill it?

Agree

Just another reason why the SEC will continue to build a bad-arse brand .

If they want to dilute their product, so be it.

Agree.

It is or was only a matter of time till corporations stepped in and messed it up. Greed is incredible.

I enjoy the east-west games as much as regionalism, if not more.

Whole-heartedly agree. I'm trying to go ahead and accept the fact that we'll have to play a conference regular season game in Texas every few years, but I'm still not thrilled about it. Texas is not the Southeast. It just isn't, I don't care if it's in teh southern part of the country, Texas is not "The South". It has much more of a mid-western vibe, hell it's own unique "Texas" vibe, than a southern feel.

Agree which is why as much as I would like to see the Aggies in the SEC, I hope the Big 12 in some form can survive. What we don't want is a PAC 16 mega-conference with 2 auto-BCS bids dominating the landscape.

I meant, was it going to kill the regionalism aspect of college football, NOT college football itself.

Look in the mirror for the drama, son.

I guess my only concern is, these are no longer quite as interesting, without the built in regionalism aspects of them.
