If it was just Chip I would take it with a grain of salt BUT this jibes perfectly with everything else that has come out. No doubt in my mind OU & Okie State are gone.

It looks like this is the end of OU/Texas based on what Stoops and the OU AD have said - lots of big changes in college football.

well if its just OU & OSU, then this leads me to beleive most conferences are content with 14 not 16.

He's serious. It's not about size it's about stature. You get a ticket to one of these conferences only because you are tied to OU.

They just may get enough to pay for a new domed stadium to replace Kyle Field North.

As one of the two remaining members of the Big 12-10 (Iowa State being the other) this is probably true. No one else will be around to collect the exit fees.

But after paying for the "Ferrell Dome", how are they going to afford the upkeep? No FBS conference will want them at this point, and other than Iowa State and whatever FCS conference opponents with whom they end up landing, no one will want to play them in Waco (any "rent a win" games will involve Baylor being the visitors). Are they going to rent it out to the Waco school district on Fridays?

Scott's statements sound suspiciously like Slive's statements before A&M applied. . . . .

So Baylor now threatens to sue OU and OK State. How does Boone Pickens react to this? This should be fun.

But does Pac-12 make first move with Texas A&M in "limbo," as president R. Bowen Loftin said? Larry Scott adamant he won't fire first shot.

Texas' preferred option remains keeping Big 12 intact. Not everybody is on board with that sentiment. OU and OSU and Tech looking to Pac-12.

I won't be as freaked out as most Texas fans/alums at the Ou series coming to an end but, yes, this game means exponentially more than the aggie series.

......and the SEC said they were fine at 12 & didn't want to add members and then did an immediate 180. OU is a solid national brand. The Pac 12 will offer them without hesitation.

texas illicits a lot of emotions and their fans love it. their mantra is "we're texas" and use it anytime anyone questions anything about them. they actually believe their shite. they lose to LSU in the world series and you don't hear one single complement thrown our way. instead, they come out of the dugout, do their stupid finger gesture and basically ejaculate yea, but we're texas. as if it's better to be them and lose than be us and win. they are like the ego maniac that must stroke themselves all the time because no one else will. and they wonder why they are loathed so outside of austin. they would be surprised if they knew how many people actually laugh at their attitude.
