In my opinion this logic is flawed....Texas kids can now stay in-state and play in the SEC. The only reason we get kids from Texas is because they either love the school they chose or they want to play in the SEC. Now they can stay in Texas and still play in the best conference.

The SEC already recruits Texas....just curious how having A&M in the conference will help get more recruits out of Texas when in reality more TOP recruits are likely to stay.

Mainly Ark and LSU. 59 total players from Texas playing in the SEC. on the radio today that's what they were saying and Ark and LSU have 27 total players from Texas.

but no one is saying it wouldn't help the process. Look at our WR corps, all Arky kids and ranked top unit in the nation b/c of Petrino. If we start getting a couple 4/5 star WR's out of Texas...shiiiiitttte

Maybe they should try and land a couple 5 stars and see And Louisiana has enough talent to keep LSU a top program. Picking a few Houston studs will help keep LSU elite

I'm comparing apples to apples. I'm not bragging on SWC titles to Bama or LSU. You're Arky. We played in the same league. And when we did, we won it more often. And I'm on mobile but haven't I been on TD longer than you? I know how things work around here

A&M=3rd tier SEC
