Thought Brady was a Texas lock? Or was that Penn State? Or Miami?

Surprised anybody wanted to work under herman and for that entitled arrogant fanbase. They deserve to struggle for a long time if they continue to allow the red macombs of the world to micro manage everything they do. Doubt herman survives many more seasons like this one.

Rumor is that Day strongly suggested to Yurchich he should take any offer he gets. Apparently Yurchich is considered a pain in the arse to work with.
Mensa, Ash, and Yurchich working together should make things interesting if true.

I always love these types of rumors.

The same source for that rumor was saying a week ago that Yurcich was a lock to stay at OSU. $9.95 boards always have the best spins

Great hire. Would love to have seen him in Athens. He did a great job at OK state and Ohio St.

Yes, Gundy has called plays for years

Not from what I’ve found.
Gundy himself said Yurcich called plays.
quote:
He's been very innovative," Cowboys head coach Mike Gundy said. "He's developed himself into a very good playcaller."
quote:
. “I don’t question anything Mike (Yurcich) does,” said Gundy. “I think Mike was through the roof in the plays he called in (that) game.”
Ryan Day:
quote:
The fact that he came from Oklahoma State, had done really well as a coordinator calling plays for the last six years, wanting to be here, that was the second thing,” Day said. “He brings so much to the table. He’s called plays.
