I completely understand that and am talking specifically about Kragthorpe who got shite-canned for being an absolute failure as a HC and running the Louisville football program into the ground. Clearly, that is much, much different than Chavis not being retained after Fat Phil was fired.

FWIW several have said that Kragthorpe had a mess to clean up when he came to Louisville and tried to recruit more upstanding recruits and institute more discipline because Petrino left it in shambles.

Alot of people severly underestimate the amount of troubled youths on the team when Kragthorpe showed up.

This is what I've heard. I'm not too familiar with the situation...

I just don't like hiring anybody who was shite-canned. Even if it was at a higher position than you are hiring him at. I think it's an immediate lack of credibility with the players that would be hard to overcome.

Brick Haley was shite-canned, let go or basically "Fired" with the Chicago Bears.....

Offensive coordinator/Quarterbacks coach: Dana Holgorsen, University of Houston (look at Case Keenum, and look at the crazy awesome high-flying offense they have)
Running backs coach: not sure
WR coach: Frank Wilson
OL coach: not sure

OC: Curtis Johnson - WR coach at New Orleans
RB: Frank Wilson - RB coach at UT
WR: Rob Ianello - WR coach at Norte Dame
OL: Josh Henson - OL coach at Missouri

The only keeping this from being a perfect list (in my humble opinion) is a QB coach, unless you intend Johnson to coach QBs.

a decent thought, but that offense would never work in the SEC. I think Kragthorpe or the Saints WR coach are wonderful ideas.

It worked okay when Hal Mumme ran it at Kentucky. Any offense can work in the SEC; saying otherwise is a cop-out. Urban Meyer's offense wasn't supposed to work in the SEC either.

I just don't know that Holgerson would be the right call
