You are now seeing why the governor is at practices.

The big O has Politcal support to do what he wants.

Tigerbaitlawyer said he has support above the b.o.s. And the a.d.’s head. Who you think is higher? Governor that does commercials with him and attends his practices?

I mentioned that the governor was largely accountable for this mess last night and my thread got whacked with quickness... But I think more and more folks are coming to this conclusion

JBE: raising taxes and supporting O

Makes sense. Not much more corrupt than a LA governer outside of Chicago

The Governor is at practice because he wants to be there and LSU is full of yes men.
At Alabama, Saban runs his program and tells the governor when he can be at practice.

It took two strong alpha males in Emmert and Saban to wrench control from the good ole boy network and bring them to heel.
But two guys like that don’t often come around, especially at the same time.
That was catching lightning in a bottle for LSU.

We need another AD like Brodhead, and before I get clobbered on here I mean one that will stand up to the politics like he did.

Having a Governor supporting the program is good for LSU and the governor. The Guv gets political PR and the university gets the buy in to get money behind things that are needed. Look at history - Huey P and Big John McKeithen, etc. were legendary fans. Get off of the everything is nefarious paranoia thing.

JEB, JA, and FKA are the problems. They believe in political control over people and situations and value it way more than winning. With winning the program generates its own money and not dependent upon political figures at all and that scares them, F King the most. They would rather have power and lose than be in a support role and win. Take that shite to the bank.

He's at practice Because he occasionally needs to take a break from dreaming up new tax schemes to give him more money to give to his constituents.
Talk about all three levels of this administration being horrible. JBE, FKing and Alleva. If even one of the 3 were worth a sh*t we wouldn't have Shrimp Boat O as our coach.

This is stupid. People are blaming Edwards because he’s a democrat and they don’t like democrats. That’s fine, but realize you’re being foolish.
The Alabama governor refused to shut down state government tomorrow like the Georgia governor did. I guess she’s to blame if they lose tomorrow, right? Give me a break.

And a pretty incompetent governor at that.

Wtf does this have to do with their football programs?!?! We’re talking about a Univ Pres whose a liberal who blocked the hiring of Jimbo in ‘15 bc it was a “bad look” and who hired an AD because he botched a fabricated rape case, but he liked it because Alleva “stood by Title IX and the ‘rights’ of a black female accuser” who had no proof and later called it a lie. So those 2 arse clowns are in cahoots with this liberal asshat governor, who just randomly started showing up at practices the week O needs support to promote a 60 yr old to a position he hasn’t held since he was fired from it over 20 years ago.

I hate Alleva but I do wonder how much power he even has.
But why would O even want to hire Ensminger, even if he can?
