If they get rid of him it'd be worse than Nebraska letting Pelini go a couple years ago.

The players will love him as long as he's there for him sticking with him and believing in them.

LSU players all wanted Archer as HC and they played well for him at first.

Doesn't mean that Stewart=Archer, just that the WVU administration should not base their decision solely on current emotions.

Well he just got the job and I think it is a mistake. I was at VMI when he was the coach there and the players had no respect for him and thought he was an IDIOT. Maybe he got smarter up in Canada. Good luck Mounties.

Maybe he is not a good 'military' style coach. Well, I give him three years.
They did play some inspired ball when evryone had given them no chance.
I wish we had some extra fuel for motivation

How is the guy as a recruiter ? It seems like they are hiring him based off a lot of the emotion of the big win. Was he a serious candidate before the game ?

My thoughts exactly... this guy has A LOT to prove. I will give him due respect on the win however.

This will be a huge disaster of a hire and it will tear down everything that RR built at WVU and set them back to the stone ages in football.

judging by last night, with the offense not missing a beat, its pretty clear who the offensive mastermind of the program is.

He wasn't very good at VMI and had to resign for using the "n" word

They are getting him on the cheap which seems to be a big factor.

they may a coach but at what cost look what large donor and owner of the Diamondbacks said:
'There are just so many questions, some I’ll try to articulate well. I’ll certainly try to do better than WVU booster Ken Kendrick, who called Thursday a “sad morning.”

“He is so overmatched it’s not even funny,” Kendrick told ESPN.com. “He’s a nice guy and a father figure. But they had a wonderful architect and they hired the painter to build the next house.
