Or maybe… just maybe… this isn’t just about the money. Maybe there’s internal shite going on that we’re not privy to. He may just be ready for a change

There’s no “legitimate” info out there. Nobody at ESPN, 247, or anywhere else is reporting on this. This should have no impact on the national media covering CFB.

Someone in an earlier thread made a very astute point. OU is leaving and joining the SEC at a 76 to 80 million price tag. They may not want to get into a bidding war.

My stance on these type of things has always been the same. If he wants to coach here, he’s coming regardless of when the news comes out

There is never a good time for a sitting coach to leave his current school or the info leaking out that he is leaving. The leaks only give his current school the opportunity to play on his emotions and pocketbook.
He could entertain those advances to string them along until he leaves or he could give in and back out of any deal that has been made. If it happens, it won’t be the first time in the history of coaching.
I’m just waiting on the next coach to step to the podium, whoever it may be.

Woody doesn’t leak anything to anyone until he knows he has something locked down. If the rumors are true you’ll start seeing national media break the news.
