Is O good buds with Sark like he is with Lane? Sark would be cool with me. He's a very good coach. Hopefully he's won his battle with his personal demons.

If Kiffin doesn't get a head coaching gig, it seems more logical that he would get an extension from Bama and stay there with their potent offense and wait out a bigger head coaching gig next year.

McElroy was on ESPN this morning and he indicated that Kiffin was most likely done at Bama; the discussion specifically concluded that Kiffin would take the Houston job or the LSU OC job, and McElroy didn't disagree. Of course, this is fluid and could change.

That being the case, I kind of like 1 year with Kiffin, considering that we have 1 year left with Etling and Guice. Bring in the long term solution in 2018 (Eaux Canada).

The long term solution is when LSU gets a qualified Head Coach.

I don't see Coach O generating much enthusiasm for the program. Could you imagine if LSU hired Herman how much enthusiasm would be around the program? People would be buying LSU gear in record amounts.

Instead we just have a few season ticket holders not renewing, several tailgates calling it quits, and a disgruntled fanbase

Your bandwagon narrative is completely false. A bunch of internet whiners does not equate to empty seats and tailgates. We will sell out the bowl game, hire a great OC, and be the wildcard playoff pick going into next season.

Sark won't take the risk of going to LSU.
I'm not ruling it out...
