Honestly, I might take Noel Mazonne over any of them. I think there would be an easy transition with him. He runs a balanced attack. He certainly wasn't the reason A&M struggled down the stretch.

Yes... all the people complaining about him and what happened have never taken the time to investigate the case

You have any good reads on this??

Could recent politics (retribution) have been a factor (from an administration that used accusations of sexual abuse as weapon to smear opponents...)

Baylor Demotes President Kenneth Starr Over Handling of Sex Assault Cases

quote:

Kenneth W. Starr, the former independent counsel who delivered a report that served as the basis for President Bill Clinton’s impeachment in 1998, was removed as president of Baylor University on Thursday after an investigation found the university mishandled accusations of sexual assault against football players. The university also fired the football coach, Art Briles, whose ascendant program brought in millions of dollars in revenue but was dogged by accusations of sexual assault committed by its players — an increasingly familiar combination in big-time college sports.

quote:

The allegations in the Baylor report are similar to others that have surfaced at universities with prominent athletics programs. Florida State’s Heisman-winning quarterback Jameis Winston was accused of rape in 2012 (he denied the charge) and was not disciplined by the university after an incomplete police investigation and a hearing. At Tennessee, a lawsuit filed this year partially blamed a noncompliant climate for sexual assaults by five athletes.

naw baw about 2 years ago when O was given a huge salary to be DL coach at LSU all of his past hatred and negativity towards LSU, as well as his love for USC and other programs, dissolve away like celery and onions in a gumbo. he turned his life around and nothing he did in the past matters. he's been baptized

It's because nobody fricking vetted him

It's a big reason Syracuse and USC passed on him. Our coach has done some fricking sketchy things in his past. Oh but he speaks like us! And had a fricking binder.

Never underestimate the desire for money. They'll saying anything to get a private Baptist university to pay.

Also, Briles never personally raped anyone.

speaking of starr, he vouched for briles integrity...
quote:

"Coach Briles is an honorable, decent man..."

ken starr was also one of the defense attorneys for billionaire pedophile jeffrey epstein, so his endorsement really means a lot.

because he has just as much baggage. lincoln riley is better than both, just hire him.

Riley hasn't looked as good the last year or so.

Baggage is perception, and the weight of perception for all that mess is on Art.
