Would there be fewer "Saban to ________" rumors if he actually looked his age?

We all know the guy dyes his hair, and probably gets Botox, too. He goes to great length to hide his age. It makes people forget that he's actually the same age as Mack Brown. Saban is 62 years old, most guys are too old to start fresh at that age.

He'll fit in perfectly in Austin.

I love the barely concealed hysteria from the Tide fans right now.

We've dealt with these rumors for years. They've always been wrong.

Back to the OP. It's just a question, yes or no.

No - Saban doesn't look or act like his age. Compare to Mack who is only a couple years only yet looks like he carried the weight of the world to hell and back. It's an interesting dichotomy and shows what being the HC at a major program can do to your health (in Mack's case).

Dude... the guy invested in a project that's in bankruptcy and in debt $25 million. He owns 49.5% of that boondoggle. If you don't think he's trying to extort... er um... renegotiate with Bama for millions more and/or take Texas' offer, you need to have your head examined.

It works on the general public, but the administrations are smart enough to see through it and know how old he is.

Arnsparger was 58 when he became HC at LSU. He was 66 when he became the Chargers' DC. Saban has a good 5 years left to him and that's about his average stay at any one place.

In all likelihood, Bama and Texas are both getting played by Sexton to get Nick a huge raise. Sexton is the master puppeteer.

Most of these rumors about Terri looking for real estate or Nick being in huge debt are probably the work of Sexton.

You're coming across an awful lot like a guy who's trying to convince himself of something.

I thought only LSU fans were starting new Saban threads?

genro, I'll be glad for you when this is officially over. I feel like you've wondered down the ranter path a bit too much.
