Would Napier pulling a Herman on UF be worth the melt?

Let's say Napier agrees with UF, it gets reported in the media, and then Aranda isn't an option (either by choice or opportunity), then Napier pulls a Herman and goes with his clear cut, obvious #1. Would the melt from the UF fanbase be worth losing out on Aranda?
They're a cratering program in the midst of a terrible coaching carousel post-Meyer who are on the verge of breaking. They're talking a lot of shite and acting real egotistical about "stealing" a guy who LSU isn't even really valuing, from most reports. It would probably break their program beyond repair to lose him in such a terrible public fashion.
Napier may flame out at LSU but there would be an argument it was worth it if the UF program collapses because of it.

Napier is 100% committed to UF, that's why he's kept plugging stories into local BR media to have them rile up the fanbase to support him.
That's what guys 100% committed to UF do, is put tons of energy into the BR media market.
