Do you think Leach would change up his system to include more RB involvment?

More along the lines of Oklahoma State?

Yes.Same style of offense as OSU and Oklahoma. He wouldn't need to employ that heavy pass offense at LSU.We have RBs that can carry a team.

I think he would adapt to it

Miles would make sure of that..

Miles understands that in order to win big, you must have a solid run game.."balance"

Look how Arkansas closed the deal on LSU? RUN RUN RUN!

That's a big part of the problem we have now. Crowton trying to adapt to Miles, and Miles trying to adapt to Crowton.

yea he would because that is what good coaches do. arse clowns like gary can't adapt. leach will put up record numbers at LSU if given control which is the only way he is coming

What do you mean in terms of "control"? 07 Gary Crowton Control? Because thats the most control Leach will get..

Holgerson wanted to run the offense he does at OSU while he was OC in lubbock but Leach wouldn't have any of it.

if les wants to keep us at elite then its best he gives complete control over. i just dont see leach being ok with a guy that can't form a sentence or handle clock management changing his play calls.

Why would they run the OSU offense with graham harrel and micheal crabtree?

no, but the OC has to understand that the HC sets the overall tone and strategy of a game. I would rather win 17-14 than lose 48-45. So if Miles tells Leach to chew some clock, then he has to be willing to do that. If Miles would rather toss to Ridley vs. go 5 wide because it's a better percentage play, then so be it.

The same reason OSU runs it with Weedon and Blackmon, I guess

Kendall hunter is an all big 12 RB. Not to mention Joseph Randle as well. My point with the 08' Tech offense is that there was no real talent at RB there. Plus you have heisman QB/WR combo that could never be stopped.

Then we should just go after Holgerson.

If you're hired to a job based off your past way of doing things, why would you change it?

"Don't fix it if it a'int broke" mentality.

I don't really want Leach here

no. He had Baron batch at TT and didn't really use him in the run game nearly enough.
