Because that would be a one-way to douse the smoke around Riley to LSU (which is what Woodward wants).
I can see Scotty telling Orgeron, ”If you want to ensure you get your buyout money, convince your boy, Bruce, that we weren’t able to pull Lincoln Riley”
I’m sure Feldman would then double check that on the Oklahoma side, and it would almost assuredly get confirmed by anybody associated with OU.

I generally agree with you on that, but I bet he would use him for this purpose if he felt like it was best way to get narrative off ‘Riley to LSU’

Lol you think Scott Woodward cant get ahold of Bruce Feldman? none of this makes sense on its face, but if he was trying to do that why would he outsource that job to the man he just fired?
