So the fact that Kiffin is about to have 2 of the best QBs in the country to work with, tells you he is going to l6u? Wow
What's happening is LSU fans caught a bit of information, in this case LSU giving an offer to the #1 qb in the country, and since he is currently committed to Alabama (where Kiffin is the OC) it fits the narrative enough for LSU fans to jump to immediate, concrete conclusions that we are getting Lane Kiffin and he is bringing the #1 QB in the country with him.
In a few short days, maybe weeks, it will be considered a Done Deal by most people on this board and that Kiffin has already signed the contract and snapchats Derrius Guice on the regular. They will give you other ridiculous detailed reasons why he is coming here and conversations they have heard from LSU ties "in the know" about why it is happening and you are stupid and insecure for thinking otherwise.
Then when the dust finally settles, Kiffin will either resign a large contract with Bama or leave Bama to be a HC somewhere.
After that we will sit back and plot exactly why the Done Deal didn't go through and that we are happy as frick that we didn't sign Kiffin as OC anyways.
(not saying I want Kiffin but that's exactly how things go on this board)
Lather. Rinse. Repeat. Boudin.

this is a fun pipe dream for LSU fans.
What is the pipe dream? People outside of LSU fans are talking about Kiffin coming to LSU. Half of LSU fans don't even have him at the top of their list. And if you still think anyone in this thread is saying that QB would come to LSU if Kiffin came, I'll just chalk that up to Bama reading comprehension.

And if he doesn't, his career is essentially over. But, if he stays at Bama, he'll have a qb coming back with the potential to win a Heisman and maybe even a 3rd NC in 4 years. You don't think that will have enough eyeballs on it?
Dude. Kiffin is gone pecan, no matter what. A large chunk of your own fanbase already believes this is happening, including many Bama posters here. I can't tell you why. I just know several signs, the biggest being Sark's mid-season hiring (just like Kiffin's a few years ago) point this direction.

All signs point to him leaving Bama. I think that's happening, no matter what, and so do many others. There is reason for speculation that he would come here, but that's all so far. The two are neither mutually inclusive or exclusive.

Wherever there is a critical utterance about Bama in any corner of the internet, there is a Bama fan there to put on some false bravado and cry about it.

Somebody tell me the deal between Kiffen and Saban?
what happened?
WE all saw the butt chewing but that can not be the reason Kiffen isn't getting a new deal...
what is the scoop?
Somebody inside Bama tell us the deal
Word on the street is Kiffin is somewhat into booze and and some pills around Tuscaloosa. I don't think that in and of itself is what is facilitating the move. I believe the plan all along was to part ways at the end of the season, I was surprised it went beyond two years personally .

Will Kiffin be splitting time amongst the other 20 schools that offered?
Posted on 11/30/16 at 12:47 pm to arwicklu
A head job. That would be sweet...

Pressure working for Saban? Pressure because it's Alabama?
Or is he just into the shite?

So, why offer if Kiffin is not going to be the LSU OC? That the line of reasoning?

Tua doesn't want to sit behind Hurts.

There's a big difference in being chewed out in a more private srtting compared to national tv.

Did he not know Hurts was at Bama when he committed? He can beat him out just like Hurts beat out Barnett. Competition makes one better.
