With Pruitt to Tennessee, does Saban now look at Aranda for DC?

Can you imagine the LSU melt if Aranda takes a lateral job at Alabama to work with Saban?

Holy shite I don't want to happen but then again I think I'd like to watch the melt. Not like we're gonna compete for championships anytime soon anyway!

Well I guess the only potential silver lining would be that Aranda could go work under Saban for 2 years while O completely flames out, then triumphantly return as the next head coach after seeing first hand how Saban manages a program.

But, yeah, it would be a disaster if Aranda left for Bama

Alabama fans have made it obvious that he is over rated, so the only answer is no.

That's risky because if he doesn't get Aranda, LSU can sell that Saban wanted Aranda.

Saban doesn't need Aranda. He'll go somewhere else to find the replacement.

Aranda knows more about defense than Saban. No need for him to be on the Alabama staff. Maybe, Saban wants to learn more about defense from him.

Honestly this is the biggest threat to keeping Aranda. He isn’t learning anything from O.

A coach like Saban, Fisher, hell even Mullen at Florida would give him a lot of insight into how a professional runs a program, if that’s something he’s interested in doing at some point.

But if he’s fine with just making a shite ton of money with no oversight, he’s in the best spot for that too. Just have to hope he doesn’t become a fall guy if things go south at some point.

Pretty steep buy-out for Aranda to take another DC job. Don't think bama would do that even though they could afford it.
