Dude would probably rule college football at LSU. Not my first choice but could you imagine his offenses with LSU's talent? Coaches are some characters. Look at all the odd personalities in coaching. Do you really care if they're filling the trophy case? Hope we're not missing out on potential championships just because he may be a tad odd. Just saying. I wouldn't hate the hire.

The "Mad Hatter" and "Red Bull Man" was a tad odd. But I thought that was just Louisiana. Kiffin went 10-2 at Ole Miss and he isn't even in the potential hiring pack? I had read, whether true or nor ??? That the higher ups would not sign off on a Kiffin hire. Who knows ?

If you think a hard arse who has a history of being involved in a student's death and academic scandals is going to endear himself in the deep south you're way out of touch. Say what you will about Saban but the man can moonwalk out of scandal and political issues with the best of them. Kelly won't win over Black southerners and you got to have Black southerners if you want a football team worth a damn.

They're lying. They won't sign off on a Kiffin hire but they'll sign off on Brian Kelly. Kelly has as much scandal following him as a two bit whore.

Not my first choice at all, but way better than Stoops or Kelly. Would crush it at LSU, especially in recruiting.

I agree. I just don't see how a guy like Kelly is attractive to most recruits in the south.
Kiffin is at least elite on offense.
