Will Fleck be on the move again?

He has lost the Minnesota media already, and the fan base is underwhelmed by his sizzle. My guess is that he would chase a job with better recruiting possibilities if someone will look past the catch 22 of him not proving much here yet.
QB cecruit opens re-recruiting
Not MN Nice

this is the most interesting part of the article
seems like a weak offer list for the #4 pro style QB
quote:
For the Class of 2019, the Gophers’ top QB target is Hank Bachmeier of Murrieta (Calif.) Valley. The 6-3, 185-pound Bachmeier is a four-star recruit and the No.?4-ranked prostyle passer in his class. He visited Minnesota for the Sept. 30 game against Maryland and also is being recruited by Boise State, California, Colorado and UCLA.

He always seemed kindof meh to me, especially with all the rah rah bs.

So crazy, it's only year 1. WTH has happened to CFB.

Besides saying corny stuff what makes him a good coach? His style of coaching would work great with the talent Saban gets when all you need to do is have more effort and energy to win.

The idea of being only 8 games in and "losing" the media or fans is just silly.

Overreacting.
Go ahead though Gopher fans. Run him off.

It's his first year jesus. Campbell went 3-9 his first year in Iowa State.

I never trust people with motivation gimmicks as the foundation of their program. While it may work for a few years, eventually players tune it out. Great coaches establish a standard of how things are done and refuse to compromise on those standards. Rah-rah coaches are good at reviving programs initially, but eventually go by the wayside because the core of your program can't be some goofy mantra:
Row the boat
Chopping wood
One team, one heartbeat.

Maybe Fleck is better than Butch and getting guys to take leadership reps.

"Trust the process" is just as stupid, no?

thats a very shallow analysis if you think "row the boat" is all fleck's program is about

Right.
His type of coaching requires complete buy-in from the team. He needs to run off the last coach's guys and get his in there.
He will turn it around if they let him. What he did at WMU was pretty damn miraculous.

Yeah and I'm sure the WMU guys were ready to run him out of town as well. He's a program builder. They'll be fine. Dude is awesome
