Will be interesting to see how many of ND’s top recruits follow Kelly to LSU?

Seems like plenty of OUs class has decided to follow Riley.

Most of those kids are from the West Coast

I agree. One of the downsides of the hire.

As much as I love LSU I think a lot of those kids go to ND because well it’s a chance to get a free education from one of the most prestigious universities and well it’s also one of the most storied of not the most storied program in college football
There is a reason they lose very few juniors to the draft

So no none if any….

How many highly rated kids really care about the diploma? They want to go to the next level and they can definitely do it at LSU.

Agreed. Most kids are sold on the campus, not the football for ND recruiting.

Kelly has openly said this in the past

ND recruits a different type of player than LSU. There could be a little overlap but not much

Kids that go to OU want to play for the football coach; kids that go to Notre Dame want to be at Notre Dame.

Wonder how many would qualify academically?

I wouldn’t expect a lot of ND players or recruits to follow. Different academics and a long way from home for the corn fed midwesterners.

Kids academically eligible and want to attend Notre Dame, care about the diploma, those who are not eligible to attend Notre Dame, well,; some care about the diploma and some do not!

As someone stated in a previous post, Notre Dame doesn’t lose many juniors to the draft.

This... I would love LSU to recruit some kids with the same or similar goals... NFLSU is cool but being a true student athlete and the character that comes with valuing education is severely lacking these days.

Hard for me to see a mass exodus from TD Jesus but there's 3 OL--2 frosh/1 soph that would almost certainly start for us day 1. One can play center where we will be butt ugly weak.
I think their OL recruits are right where Dellinger was rated.

So how do we know how good of a recruiter Kelly is if ND recruits itself and it doesn’t matter who the coach is?
