Nice to know SB Nation is as reactionary as TD.

For the 1000th time...

Fisher or no Fisher,

You damn sure don't fire your NC winning coach to hire Ed Orgeron.

I am not advocating for Orgeron but as a fan who strongly believes in recruiting I think any scenario or domino effect that hurts LSU recruiting is more likely to send LSU to pre-1991 than any other factor.

sorry but LSU has weathered Orgeron at USC, Orgeron at Tennessee, Orgeron back at USC.

We will be ok if he decides to leave, bro.

btw, i'm assuming that you are afraid that Saban hires Orgeron to be his DL/Recruiting Coordinator? You've alluded to as much in previous posts.

So you are suggested that LSU make a Head Coaching hire to keep him away from Saban's DL position coach?

if you can get Tom Herman, its a no brainer to me, you get him. If we miss on him and it comes down to Fisher, orgeron, and the rest (Fedoira, etc.), I would just go ahead with Orgeron (if he wins out over Florida and texas AM).

If we Feel like we just don't want to go with Oregeron,
then I would go with Fleck before Fisher.

Should be (in order):

Herman
Orgeron (if LSU wins out)
Fleck or Fedora
Fisher

While Fisher is a good coach, we just aren't going to win championships with him, but he will keep us a solid team in the SEC.

I just rather go for the home run hires rather than playing small ball with Fisher

Well...you thing Orgeron is a home run just because he's won out with a loaded roster that someone else put together? Against teams that can't stop the run no less?
