That's incorrect. Our football complex is newer (and better). And our stadium is significantly larger.

Was the link that I supplied too difficult for you to click?

One of these days you delusional Lincoln Riley fans will have to explain to me what makes Lincoln Riley, who is totally unproven in the SEC and who has consistently had a piss poor defense every year of his head coaching career, worth the 12 million dollars a year or more it would cost LSU. When Lane Kiffin, who is already a proven head coach in the SEC and who is a better offensive coach relative to Lincoln Riley could be had by LSU for around half as much.

Precedent matters a lot.

If we could just reference one case of a coach leaving a playoff or top 4 team to come to one with a losing record in this modern era, the Riley talk would make more sense.

Anything can happen but it's another deal entirely to say it's likely to happen. I don't think Riley to LSU is likely, as of today.

These “Why Would” threads are my favorites!

Ask a question that no one can answer correctly but the guy who makes the decision.

Let the guessing begin!

Blue Blue legendary program

Very close with Switzer and Stoops families

Just built a mansion on a ton of acreage outside of Norman

He plays in a JV conference for up to 3 more years, 2 of which with a Heisman level QB

OU has a ton of oil money and will pay

LSU will take some time to rebuild and might include sanctions

And tons of other thing floating around in his head that we don’t know. It’s all “if”.

I know we won’t have something solid and everyone wants to figure it out ASAP.

We don't fire our coaches two years after winning an NC.

I mean, you’re not wrong. But all of you clowns who say this discount the surrounding areas that are pretty damn nice around the outskirts. Just because he would coach at LSU doesn’t mean he would have to live there.

Could build a real nice mansion off highland toward Prairieville or in Mandeville, depending on how you define outskirts...

And when is the last time OU won an NC ?

Truth be told if OU competed in the SEC you may wanna revisit that statement .

Norman OK has 6 murders during its worst year. BR is around 140 so far, and we have over a month to go
