I didn't see Les Miles as a good HC either- His success was more about his coordinators, not him. How many clock errors did he make as coach at LSU? Orgeron loves Louisiana, he's exciting, a great motivator, recruiter, etc. And most of all, I think he would be willing to change, unlike Les. I think Orgeron learned a lot from the Ole Miss experience. He is way beyond that now. If he comes close to running the table, beats Bama, you have to seriously consider him. Now if Saban decides he has some 'unfinished business' in Baton Rouge I would be willing to go 15 mil a year!!!

Dude- did you see what he did with Kiffin's mess at USC-- those players would have murdered someone if he asked them to-- it was almost cult like.

He left OM absolutely loaded with talent. Made Houston Nutt look good for a few years.

..and yeah, he's one of us so we're kind of happy for him

So you want the same type of coach that you just fired?

His resume is better than Miles pre-LSU, unless you think Miles would have dominated at Ole Miss post Cutcliffe.

O is the right man for the job he's been given THIS season, it at the very least has generated some buzz and fan excitement for what looked to be a season that was shot.

There aren't many that think he's the long term answer

The "love" is a mixed bag of coonasses and alter fans of other teams.
