So the guy is 5-5 at Oregon and coming off a 35 point loss, and everyone is tying him to Florida and possibly Tennessee?

What has he done to guarantee him a top 5/10 job? Have a couple good years at USF? Lol

I think they’re down to the 3rd string qb.

Because rational people can look at body of work and not point out one game or one season and judge him based solely on that.

Ok, 45-50 as a head coach. When does he get a statue?

He's a program builder. He took over complete dumpster fires at WKU and USF and turned both completely around within 3 years. Comes from the Harbaugh tree. Big time recruiter with connections in the South.

He's not my #1 but I would not be mad if Tennessee hired Taggart.

And we all know how good Jim Harbaugh's been at Michigan

I mean, he hasn't been Nick Saban but he's not exactly awful either. There's worse coaches that Taggart could be connected to than the Harbaughs

Considering he took over programs where a .500 season was rare that's not a bad record.

WKU was the worst FBS program when he took over.

He took over a USF program that Skip ran into the ground.

Oregon will go bowling this year coming off a losing season. He's also recruiting well there.

He has a knack for building programs. Oregon is 6th in recruiting, and he is cherry picking kids across the country. Kelly couldn’t do that.

What an absurd post. It's year 1 dude. Do I need to remind you that Saban went 7-6 in his first year?

The guy has completely changed the direction of two different programs. I dont see how he would leave Oregon though

Hard to to give a black coach credit? Who's mess is he cleaning up at Oregon (which is usually the case)?

If he was still at USF they would be the Group of Five team this year. He built that squad and Charlie Strong has looked pretty mediocre handelinf them so far.
