Sure, we could do worse. Sure, he turned Temple and Baylor into winners in a short amount of time.
But that doesnt equate to being a major player in the SEC, which is what we expect right?

He never defeated a ranked team at Baylor.... whats that tell you?
I honestly think Jimbo would be a better choice for here if we are talking throwing 12 mil at him to lure him out of NFL.

But I dont get it

Baylor's program was gutted and he had them in Sugar Bowl by the time he left

We're not a shitty midling program who needs wins.
We have to start beating the best programs in the nation.

Depsite his impressive turnaround resume, he hasnt beaten anyone close to what we face every weekend.
Not one ranked opponent victory??? I dunno. Not sure we're comparing apples to apples here.

"Why is everyone so high on Matt Rhule?

Here are all his accomplishments laid out, but what makes everyone want him?"

I don’t see Lincoln being about to turn around a losing program like Temple.

Temple was 2-10 his first year and had back to back 10 win seasons his last two seasons.....Baylor was 1-11 his first year and won 11 games in his third season....What else is there to discuss? The guy can flat out coach and understands how to make a program thrive. Does that translate to established schools like LSU? We can't be sure, but if he's willing to come, you don't pass that opportunity up.

Thanks for actually explaining some type of reasoning instead of just the "youre a retard" comments all these message board know-it-alls come up with.

Not defeating a single ranked team just gives me pause in what appears to be an impressive resume on the surface. Bc he'll be facing ranked teams nearly every week here

Totally agree he'd never beat a ranked opponent and now in the NFL he's coaching like s*** just what we need people
