Doesn't matter. All that matters is what happens when you play Bama again

I keep hearing about this large athletic budget, huge endowment, great facilities and the Texas talent advantages for TAM and I don't doubt the truth of the facts but have those "advantages" helped TAM be a great program lately? Not that I'm aware of. Going to the SEC isn't going to change that fact for the better. I'm a guy that thinks TAM and Missouri will be better than most think in the SEC but the insanity of all these "advantages" and the benefits they'll bring has to stop. TAM was an average program in the Big 12 and they'll be an average program in the SEC "advantages" or not. I do think it's a better job than Ole Miss but not so substantially that the argument can't be made the other way.

It's obvious you don't think much of A&M. Which almost guarantees me you're under 35. Which is fine.
But, wouldn't you rather have advantages and have wasted them to not have advantages at all?
It just means potential. That's it. Will it be realized? Nobody knows but it's very possible and possibly even probable

Hell, I'm way over 35 and when I was at LSU we opened every season with SWC lightweights A&M, Baylor and Rice, just to get tuned up for the conference.
