Why does Miles Like Kragthrope?

Is it starting to look like he is Miles guy?
He would be an upgrade from Crowton, but not as appealing as hoped for. This guy seems to have family "situations" that could interfere with his work performance, and his resume doesn't overwhelm.

Bill Belichick failed in Cleveland and was fired.
Why do some people only look at the Louisville HC experience as why this guy is not any good?
He was a hot name 3 years ago...Did he suddenly become a dummy?
In coaching circles it is my understanding SK can coach

None of us knows. We are having fun with uncovering names (and making up a few) But, I'd never get too sure that anyone knows anything about what is truly going on.

It's amazing to me that people can't put this together and at the slightest bit of "news" (STUDZZ TO OC! NOZZZZZZ!) they flip the hell out.

People underestimate how much of a cease pool Louisville was when Petrino left.

Agreed.
Kraggs isn't a sexy hire... and I'm not sure if I'd love it... but simply writing him off because of his Louisville stint is silly.

I think he'd be fine as OC. Id rather Chryst or Fuente but Krags would work too.

Long story, short-
Petrino upgraded Louisville's talent level by bringing in guys with questionable backgrounds.
Krags had to cut/dismiss lots of guys in his first year and basically start over.

He sold this story like crazy, but lets be frank: Louisville was coming off of 9 straight bowl appearances (ranked most of those years) and off of an Orange Bowl win. They had talent returning his first year and he proceeded to go 3 straight years without a bowl appearance. The talent level fell off the map with him there, as he was a poor recruiter. The offense got progressively worse as well. Now, Strong came in and took them to a bowl the year after Kragthorpe was fired with little talent.
Now maybe Kragthorpe will do very well as an OC, but make no mistake that he ran a well-respected program into the ground at Louisville.

Fuente would be at LSU for 2 or 3 years and then leave for a HC job somewhere.
Chavis came here with as many doubters as Krag. He was 3rd and Chavis!
