Some of the same people on here were wanting him fired after some of our games in 2019. His head coaching record at Baylor isn’t incredible or anything. I just don’t get where some of you are coming from

Fear of tucker being picked and lack of knowledge. Aranda isnt a bad choice, but I’m not sold on him yet

I am one of the few who defended Aranda all of 2019 and I am unsure if I would want him as HC.

He is having a nice season though.

Because many are expecting to whiff on any big name. So if it's between Napier, Fickell and Napier or Tucker they want what's already familiar to them.

It's not a bad mindset

I highly doubt any of these are the same people. That was an elite group of morons in 2019.

Outside of fan familiarity Aranda and Tucker are pretty close. 500 college coaches with not a long HC'ing history that have had pretty nice starts to the season.

And a lot of people didn’t. You get that right? We aren’t talking about the same people.

You can't seriously hold all peoples feet to the flame because of some malfunctionaries on here wanting him to be fired.

I admire the way he has constructed defenses while at LSU and think that he truly understands what he is doing on that side of the ball. He worked with some great LB's and could scheme to take advantage of the opponents weaknesses.

He impressed me as someone having the charisma and gravitas to succeed at a big time program. He succeeded in the awful situation of being DC and HCIW under O and made it out the door personally unscathed.

Well shite it was 2 years ago. But after the Ole Miss game tRants entire first page was filled with “Fire Aranda” threads.

I was surprised he went to Baylor. I guess you don't turn down a P5 job when it falls in your lap and he's done alright there; but the word on him has always been that he hated recruiting and was angling for the NFL. He may be a great hire, but there are question marks just like everybody else.

I think Tucker and Aranda would both be somewhat risky hires but I guess they all are to some degree.

I think a certain few might have been Orgeron true believers. They certainly trashed him on the way out the door

I think I’d rather have Tucker. He’s got a lot more HC experience

I don’t understand the obsession either. He was a great DC, but the jury is still out as a head coach.

Then don’t click on it dickhead. I’m merely saying that there has been a complete 180 on wanting him fired as DC to now wanting him to be the head coach.

im merely saying you’re wrong and the entire premise of your thread is weak. Don’t start a thread if you’re just looking for everyone to agree with you.
