Why do I have this feeling that we are going to seriously regret passing on Napier?

LSU was what he really wanted plus he has a Louisiana network already set up.
Can you imagine the feeling here if he turns Florida into a monster?
And we wouldn't have to essentially buy him like we are going to do with Riley.

It just depends who we get. If we miss on Riley or Fickell and then get left with stoops or Campbell then it would be disappointing. But if we hit Riley then nothing at all to be upset about.

I am simply in awe with just how many people assume Scotty isn’t good at his job. I can’t comprehend it frankly. As for Napier, he simply can’t be given the keys to a Ferrari from a skateboard. He needs to go buy an actual car, drive it around a few years, then he can catch the eye of schools like ours. Clearly, Scotty feels this way too.

I really hope I am wrong as well. But have same feeling about Napier. He looks like a coach that has “IT” to me. I am not a Napier bot, don’t think as “one of us”. Just have observed him for several years now at ULL and he looks like a special next level coach.

The fact that people have slandered the grassroots supporters of Napier as “Napier-bots” shows you how fricked up this fanbase is.
Even Moscona says that Napier “drummed up support” for himself and it’s been impressive.
Napier didn’t do a damn thing different than usual. He has always done BR radio. Some people are just able to look past the bullshite and put pride aside and admit that he’s a good coach and that he would kill it at LSU.
The line of thinking that LSU should never hire the Lafayette coach could come back to bite LSU football in the arse, especially if Napier capitalizes on Miami and FSU being down and starts poaching Louisiana prospects as early as the ‘22 class.
Even respected posters like TigerTub on 247 melt and show their arse whenever you mention Napier simply because he’s at ULL.
